You may be reimbursed for up to 100% of the insured trip cost, including eligible academic expenses, if you need to cancel your trip for a covered reason.

Depending on your policy, you can also add optional cancel for any reason (CFAR) trip protection. It allows you to cancel no later than two days before departure for reasons not covered by your plan. CFAR reimburses up to 75% of prepaid, non-refundable insured trip costs. It has specific requirements and limitations, and you must buy it no later than 21 days after your initial trip payment.^*

Trip interruption coverage

If your academic trip is interrupted by an unforeseen covered reason, trip interruption coverage may reimburse up to 125% or 150% of the insured trip cost, depending on your policy.

Baggage coverage
